For The Balvenie DoubleWood 17 Year Old, the first and longest stage of the maturation process takes place in an American oak whisky cask. The second and shorter stage takes place at the end of maturation when the whisky is transferred into a European oak sherry cask for a period of some months.
The Balvenie Caribbean Cask was created by The Balvenie Malt Master, David Stewart. This single malt has had a 14-year maturation period i traditional oak whisky casks, before being transferred to cask that previously held Caribbean rum to finish aging.
The Balvenie Double Wood is a 12 year old single malt which gains its distinctive character from being matured in two woods. Over its period of maturation, it is transferred from a traditional oak, whisky cask to a first fill European oak sherry cask. The traditional casks soften and add character, whilst the sherry wood brings additional depths of flavour.
The resulting touch of sweetness from the Sherry wood is perfectly balanced by the oakiness drawn from the traditional casks, delivering a single malt Scotch whisky of brilliant character - smooth and full bodied.
Glenfiddich 15 is innovatively matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in our unique, handcrafted Oregon pine Solera vat. Year on year, this Solera vat is never emptied but is always kept at least half full creating a deliciously harmonious and intense whisky which gets more complex and intriguing every year.
Our original, signature single malt Scotch whisky has matured for at least 12 years in American and Spanish oak casks. A fragrant malt which is balances the fruitiness of pear with the richness of subtle oak.
Milagro Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila which is aged in American oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 14 months. The aging results in a taste that is smooth, refined and still agave-forward.
Milagro Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila which is rested in American oak barrels for a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 4 months. With Milagro Reposado, Danny and Moy worked hard to create the appropriate balance of robust flavor with front-and-center agave taste.

This award-winning Auchentoshan Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured in three different cask types. From American Bourbon to Spanish Oloroso Sherry – and then, finally, Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks – this a rich, complex whisky with toffee and sherry flavours. NOSE - Blackcurrant, brown sugar, orange, plum and raisin notes are present in our Three Wood.
TASTE - Fruit and syrup. Hazelnut with hints of cinnamon and lemon. A butterscotch sweetness adds to the overall complexity.
FINISH - A fresh and fruity, smooth whisky with long lasting oaky sweetness.
